Here you’ll find sea turtles nesting on the beaches and to the north, at Huntington Beach State Park you can safely view alligators. In addition to abundant wildlife, the area is also home to Brookgreen Gardens, the largest collection of outdoor statuary in the world. There are more than four hundred sculptures here, dating from the nineteenth century, as well as gorgeous, stately oak trees. The area is also rich with award-winning golf courses, prestigious museums, an assortment of “Low Country” restaurants, and more. 

North Litchfield, also known as North Litchfield Beach, is one of the most beautiful beaches and is a true barefoot paradise. It encompasses fifteen public walkways that provide convenient access to the oceanfront and the second-row beach homes.
