Nearly 60 townhomes will be constructed once the project wraps up. Crews are nearing completion on the first phase of a new townhome development in Barefoot Resort & Golf, a 2,300-acre golf community in North Myrtle Beach on the west side of the Intracoastal Waterway. Townes at Barefoot will be situated next to the resort's golf driving range, spanning 4.76 acres with 57 units constructed by Pulte Home Group. Before the land became a residential subdivision, the property was utilized by Barefoot Resort for various events. Phase one of the low-maintenance, close-knit townhome community will include the initial three-story Byrnes model townhomes. These homes encompass more than 2,100 square feet of space and feature four bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, and an added one-car garage. In addition, owners receive Barefoot Resort & Golf amenity privileges, including access to its three championship golf courses, boat marina, pool and more. Furthermore, this golf cart friendly neighborhood is also within walking distance from the Putter's Pub restaurant. The three-story Byrnes model townhomes start in the mid-$400,000s. A grand opening for Townes at Barefoot is expected to happen later this year.
