The small park will feature a variety of native plants, solar-powered string lighting, and a community library, making it an ideal spot for locals and visitors to relax and unwind. In addition, its location across the street from the upcoming Swig and Swine restaurant and adjacent to Our Kids Create, a local youth arts program, makes it a perfect destination for families and anyone looking to spend some time outdoors. The lot is owned by Ann LeMay, who has been a strong advocate for the project. LeMay believes the park will be a quick and cost-effective way to add beauty, public value, and a sense of community to the area. The park has already seen several community events, including the completion of a new mural by Tommy Simpson in January.
