By early next year, a popular local deli with Myrtle Beach and Surfside locations will debut a third establishment in North Myrtle Beach. Dagwood's Deli has become a fixture after opening in Downtown Myrtle in 1988 and spilling over into Surfside as Dagwood's Deli and Sports Bar back in 2006. Now, the iconic destination for mile-high pastramis sandwiches and cold beers is moving into North Myrtle Beach. Have no fear: Dagwood's Blondie-inspired theme original is staying put, but owner Jon Staton feels it's time to introduce the rest of the beachside community to the local concept. Dagwood's third location will also be named the Dagwood's Deli and Sports Bar, and is slated for an opening sometime in early 2022 at 4200 Highway 17 South in North Myrtle Beach, the former location of a Sticky Fingers. The menu will feature all the downtown fan favorites that made Dagwood's a hometown sensation with staying power. Hungry patrons can look forward to chicken fritters, Buffalo shrimp, blackened shrimp, blackened mahi, Southwest chicken egg rolls, wings, potatoes, and of course, deli sandwiches! The space will also feature multiple television screens for game day, a full-service bar and restaurant, servers, and family dining. One guest recently reflected, "Great sports bar! Every booth has a TV...food was generally delicious...was very happy with the experience." To learn more or view a menu, visit http://dagwoodsdeli.com/.
