Celebrating Our Heroes: Myrtle Beach Military Appreciation Days
Every May, Myrtle Beach, the Military Appreciation Committee, and the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce honor the brave men and women who serve our nation. For nearly 50 years, Myrtle Beach Military Appreciation Days have celebrated our military history with a month-long series of free events.
One of the highlights is the Military Appreciation Days Parade on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. on Farrow Parkway in The Market Common. The parade features honorary and official Grand Marshals, military units, and local organizations, showcasing the community’s patriotic spirit.
Other events include a JROTC Drill Competition and a community picnic, offering opportunities for camaraderie and celebration.
