Get ready for a new family-owned pizzeria opening soon in the local area! River Oaks Pizzeria, a family-owned New York-based restaurant, is set to open a new location in the Myrtle Beach area at the Marketplace at the Mill development in Carolina Forest. The restaurant will offer New York-style pizza, entrees, and craft cocktails for dine-in, takeout, and reservations. The first River Oaks restaurant opened in the Bronx, New York, in 1998 and has since expanded to other locations in the area. Brothers Andrew, Albert, George and Frank now run the business, which was started by their father, Kole. The new Myrtle Beach location will be located in the same shopping center as the newly built Publix Market Place, located off of Sapwood Road. In a Facebook post announcing the forthcoming restaurant at the Marketplace at the Mill, River Oaks Pizzeria notes, "We don't do things the easy way, we do things the right way. We put a lot of love into everything we do, and can't wait to bring our community joy in every bite!"
